Privacy notice for the LFA Green Infrastructure Practice Guide.
Information collected
When you create a free account, sign in, subscribe, register interest or contact LFA about the Guide, information may be collected such as:
- your name;
- your email address;
- your organisation;
- your role or area of professional interest;
- subscription or enquiry details;
- communications you send to LFA.
How information is used
Your information may be used to:
- provide access to the Guide platform;
- manage free accounts and organisational subscriptions;
- send Guide updates, Green Ledger updates and related LFA communications where you have agreed to receive them;
- respond to enquiries;
- improve the Guide, resources, training and subscription services;
- support platform administration, security and reporting.
Ghost and platform services
The Guide is hosted on Ghost. Ghost may process account, sign-in, email and subscription-related information needed to operate the platform.
Where paid subscriptions are enabled, payment processing may be handled by Stripe or another payment provider. LFA does not intend to store full payment card details directly on the Guide platform.
Email communications
When creating an account, you may be asked to agree to receive Guide updates and related LFA emails. You can unsubscribe from email communications where an unsubscribe option is provided.
Some transactional or access-related emails may still be necessary to operate your account, sign-in access or subscription.
Sharing information
LFA may use trusted service providers to operate the Guide platform, manage communications, process payments, support enquiries or maintain records.
LFA does not intend to sell personal information to third parties.
Security
LFA will take reasonable steps to manage personal information securely. No online platform can guarantee absolute security, and users should take care when using shared devices, email links and organisational accounts.
Access and correction
You may contact LFA to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with the Guide, subject to any legal, operational or subscription-record requirements.
